Qualified institutions, especially those having both collections of American prints and an established fellowship program, are invited to apply for funding for a month-long research fellowship or internship.

The Ewell L. Newman Publication Awards

To recognize and encourage outstanding publications enhancing appreciation of American historical prints, each annual cycle typically will result in one Book Award in the amount of $2,000 and two Essay Awards in the amount of $750 each. One of the essay awards will be designated for the best article in the AHPCS journal Imprint, as selected by the Committee.

AHPCS Research Fellowship

The American Historical Print Collectors Society Fellowship is offered to academics who use historic American prints as primary sources in their research and writing. The fellowship is based at the American Antiquarian Society.
