A regional meeting will take place at Weir Farm in Ridgefield, Connecticut, from 9:30 to noon on Friday, September 22nd. Weir Farm was the home of the American Impressionist J. Alden Weir; since 1992 it has been a property of the National Park Service. The site appears in many of Weir’s prints and paintings. The meeting will include a tour of the house and studio and a chance to view prints by Weir, his daughters Dorothy and Caroline, and his son-in-law Mahonri Young, and artifacts, including Weir’s etching press.
