A meeting of the American Historical Print Collectors Society will take place at the Collections Research Center at Mystic Seaport Museum at 10:00 on Friday, June 17^th. Christina Connett Brophy, Senior Director of Museum Galleries and Senior Vice President of Curatorial Affairs, will speak on birds-eye views in the Museum’s collection, focusing on O.H. Bailey’s 1879 view of Mystic.  The talk will be followed by a behind-the-scenes tour of collections storage which will feature many of the other important maritime prints in the Seaport’s collections. After the meeting, there will be an optional lunch in one of the Seaport’s restaurants. The $12 fee for this meeting includes admission to Mystic Seaport Museum, which members are free to explore on their own during the afternoon.
