AHPCS Research Fellowship

The American Historical Print Collectors Society Fellowship is offered to academics who use historic American prints as primary sources in their research and writing.

The fellowship is based at the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) in Worcester, Massachusetts, and covers one month of research time. AAS is a national research library, which houses over 400,000 examples of American lithographs, engravings, etchings, and ephemera dating from before 1900. Fellowship winners are selected in the spring by a committee of scholars, previous winners, and AAS curators. The fellowship, which was first awarded in 1989 and has been given out annually since 1996, is jointly funded by the American Historical Print Collectors Society and AAS.

Annual deadline: January 15th

Application information is available on the AAS website: https://www.americanantiquarian.org/acafellowship.htm
