Statement from AHPCS President about the 2020 Annual Meeting
Last updated: March 18, 2020
Given the current concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19), I want to assure you that your AHPCS officers are monitoring the situation closely. We don’t want anyone to take any unnecessary risks or do anything to risk spreading the contagion.
We do have a wonderful annual meeting planned for May 20-23 in Louisville, Kentucky, and we can provide the following information.
The wonderful Brown Hotel where we will be staying has a 24-hour cancellation policy, so if things should change, you will be able to cancel your hotel reservation at the last minute and won’t need to pay a cancellation fee. And the AHPCS will refund your payment or return your check if we do need to cancel the meeting due to COVID-19. Try to avoid making non-refundable travel arrangements—if practicable, consider driving, as I am.
I hope to see you in Kentucky in May. In the meantime, stay well and stay safe.
